Pen-y-Fedw Cottage - Information

Pen-y-Fedw cottage is a single storey detached converted farm building in the grounds of the owner’s home.

The cottage consists of: -

  • One double bedroom and lounge sofa bed – Duvets, linen and towels provided.
  • Power shower room with W.C and shaver point over washbasin.
  • Oak-beamed kitchen diner, with gas cooker, fridge freezer, kettle, and microwave.
  • Lounge with Colour television, and family board games.
  • Private drive with adequate Car Parking facilities.
  • Access to Lawn and Gardens.
  • Price includes electricity, gas and heating oil.

Fully furnished suite with double-glazed windows, fully fitted carpets, Oil-fired central heating, in a tastefully designed fitted kitchen. Also benefiting the property’s independently owned water supply. This being drawn from 265ft beneath the surface.

The nearest pub is only two miles away, with a taxi costing £3 back to the cottage.


Prices range from:-

  • £275 per week - Low Season
  • £310 per week - Mid Season
  • £415 per week - High Season

Short breaks are charged at £70 per night. A minimum of a 3 night stay applies.


Booking Conditions:-

  • A deposit of 20% of the total cost. The balance is payable 21 days before arrival.
  • A telephone resevation will be held for 7 days pending receipt of your deposit.
  • Arrival time around 14:00, departure time 10:00.
  • Parents must take responsibility for their children, who play at their own risk.
  • All breakages must be paid for.

We regret that we are unable to cater for guests with pets. Due to fire risk, we apologise that a No Smoking policy is operated within the building. A non refundable 20% deposit is required on confirmation of booking. Balance must be paid 21 days prior to date of arrival.


New from April 2010 - Stable accomodation


Pen-y-Fedw cottage can now cater for holiday makers who would like to ride their own horses on holiday. We have secure stable accommodation for two horses charged at £10 per horse per night to include hay. Guests will be able to ride some of the most scenic countryside in the north of Wales, to include the Berwyn Mountains and the Vale of Llangollen.

The dimensions of the stables are 4.2 metres x 3.7 metres, food and any dietary requirements will be negotiated prior to arrival.

Guests will need to provide copies of necessary insurance of horse and rider and British standard hats are also mandatory.
