Pen-Y-Fedw Cottage and Log Cabin sit at the top of the mountain overlooking the Ceiriog Valley and Berwyn mountains, ideal whether you’re looking for a romantic break, a quiet place to relax and unwind or to explore the area and make use of your own private hot tub after long walks in the hills.

Close to the town of Llangollen you’ll find it a great base to make the most of all the fantastic outdoor activities and places to visit and that we have to offer in the local area and further afield in North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire.

Hi, we’re David and Sharon.

We were born and bred in Llangollen living in Glyn Ceiriog until 1996 when we bought and renovated Pen-Y-Fedw. Pen-Y-Fedw is our family home where we raised our children and are now also both very proud grandparents.

In 2001 we renovated the old stone milking parlour to become Pen-Y-Fedw Cottage and later in 2018 we expand the family run business and had the Log Cabin uniquely designed in Edinburgh.

Sharon & I absolutely love walking in the beautiful Welsh countryside and are also keen bird watchers and star gazers.

Sharon is a keen gardener and has been known to win the local garden competition on a number of occasions. We also grow Apples, Raspberries, Strawberries, Blackcurrants & Gooseberries which we use to make our homemade jams and chutneys.
